    Great little optic

Posted by Brian on Feb 5th 2024

This is my first purchase of a civilian device: I'm not at all familiar with what's popular in the hunting community or even what people talk about where it comes to these products since I avoid social media and YouTube like the plague, and I have little faith in review or consumer sites in this age of hilarious amateur infoneering. I do know though after playing around with this device that's it carefully put together and is packed with features I'm used to playing with in less casual settings. It's also unbelievably tiny; I can drop it in my jacket pocket no problem. Anyway, I mostly use it to scan or locate on our unlit property for piece of mind. I can identify this our to a pretty good distance, about a hundred yards. A good buy, and I'm glad since spending $2300 without having any clue what your doing is always a little nerve racking lol. I haven't gone wrong, and I'll be back to Armasight for the next few devices on the buy list for sure.

Thermal has become really affordable now. I am really glad I picked up this Thermal Monocular. It does everything I need and it is really small and light weight. The 320 model is super affordable, records video and the UI can be rotated 180 degrees when using it with headgear or helmet mount. Buy with confidence.

    Great Thermal Monocular

Posted by Dan K on Nov 6th 2023

The Sidekick is the smallest thermal monocular I have ever used. It is so light and compact, with a ton of great features. I love that I can record with as well. Using an external power bank mounted on my helmet gives me more time in the field with it. For walking around and scouting the terrain the 320 res is good enough for me. Plus, thermal is truly passive and you don't need any light or ambient light unlike Night Vision. Super happy with my purchase.
