The Armasight Watchman IR Illuminator is a must-have for anyone in the field using night vision devices. Powered by VCSEL technology, the Watchman IR Illuminator helps positively ID targets and track prey beyond 500 yards. This device features three brightness settings to aid visibility when there is low to no ambient light available and can focus as low as 3 degrees and out to a 14-degree field of view. The Watchman works great as a handheld unit however, if the mission dictates, you can mount it to your firearm or night vision device via the included 30mm ring. The push button tail cap can be swapped out for the provided tape switch if it is needed in a more tactical application. The body is constructed with aircraft-grade aluminum and is built to be shockproof with an IP67 waterproof rating.
Since IR illuminations are invisible to the naked eye, a small red light located at the tail cap will light up when the unit is powered on. If you accidentally leave the illuminator on you won’t have to get a new battery. Simply recharge the 18650 with the included charging cord.

I have been struggling getting a good image while using a new digital scope. I tried another brands aftermarket IR and it was too bulky and didn't perform to my liking. I got the Watchman IR based on a friend's recommendation, what a game changer. Not only is it smaller and lighter than the other one I had. But it also is much brighter and provides a longer range for my digital scope.
This IR light is one of the best I have used. I have used several from other companies, but this one is by far the best. Very bright and extremely long range well over 700 plus yards. Has 3 brightness settings and comes with a rechargeable battery. Great for using with Digital or Traditional night vision. Very small and compact for the level of brightness it produces.
