Available in green or white phosphor image intensifier tubes and equipped with a built-in infrared (IR) illuminator, the Gen 3 Bravo BNVD-40 night vision binocular allows you to navigate low-light areas and even read in complete darkness. This true dual- channel night vision goggle is available in an 40-degree field of view (FOV) version.

Armasight night vision products are encased in a tough yet compact housing that is both fog and water-resistant. The BNVD-40 Night Vision Binocular is designed to meet or exceed performance standards of military and law enforcement professionals, allowing you to maintain maximum situational awareness while navigating, observing, and tracking moving objects and vehicles.

Additional mounting options (sold separately) allow you to use the BNVD-40 as helmet-mounted night vision goggles, adding the ability to quickly and easily move them out of the way in an instant. The BNVD articulates, allowing for it to be configured for use as a monocular over either eye, preserving your biological night vision in one eye if desired.

The manual gain control lets you adjust the brightness level to your personal preference, and if the ambient light level exceeds the limits of the BNVD, the automatic protective system will shut off the Image Intensifier Tubes (ITT) to prevent damage while observing under changing light conditions.

Accomplish your mission with complete confidence using the Armasight BNVD-40.

More about Armasight Generation 3 Bravo Image Intensifier Tubes

The best value in Generation 3 night vision, with all the technology that produces a significantly improved picture and performance as compared to Gen 2 or digital night vision, but with a few minor imperfections. While all image intensifier tubes may have minor spots or blemishes, our Bravo tube will have more blemishes than our Pinnacle or Pinnacle Elite intensifier tubes. As a result, our systems using Bravo tubes are priced lower and therefore offer significant value for entry-level users. If you are just starting out with night vision and budget is a concern, Armasight systems with Bravo IITs are perfect for you. Bravo tubes may have up to eleven spots or blemishes.

    Tough Binos

Posted by Benjamin Kadlubar on Sep 13th 2024

I used ANVIS-9s and various thermal pods during my time in the Navy when I was flying F18s. I knew what to expect when I ordered these. I wanted a durable set of gen3 binos to go feral pig hunting that would tuck up close to my helmet when stowed so I could maintain balance when aiming thru a thermal. These goggles had all the features I want and I don't mind the bravo tubes. The only negative is, I would like a set of daytime caps that go over the sacrificial lenses since I walk thru brush and thorns a lot when I go out. Thanks Armasight
